The Evolution of MyShroom
From decades of groundbreaking research to global impact, this timeline traces the evolution of MyShroom, a journey of innovation, discovery, and advancing natural health solutions.
The journey began in 1972 when the founder was introduced to hybrid strains of medicinal mushrooms, leading to intense research and collaborations; over the next 34 years, research on medicinal mushrooms continued, resulting in the development of over three hundred hybrid strains, some of which showed rapid tumor shrinkage in animals and were introduced in 2006. In 2008, the MyShroom® Immune Health blend was formulated and administered to a cancer patient who was declared tumor-free after 27 days. By 2010, the immune blend was developed and launched, beta tested with other patients, and fully designed, packaged, and introduced as the first product for sale. Between 2013 and 2016, three additional MyShroom® blends were developed and launched — Neural & Cognitive Health, Liver Health, and Blood Sugar Health formulas. In 2016, a compiled dosage observation chart revealed bacteria-killing molecules in mushroom chemistry, showing that the Immune Health blend could cause cell death in both gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria observed from physicians, healthcare practitioners, and customers. From 2015 through 2019, research on MyShroom® chemistry benefits expanded significantly, highlighting applications such as topical use on comatose patients (2015), the ability to cause apoptosis in gram-negative bacteria linked to Lyme disease, pain reduction at high dosages (64 grams) and through topical use, and observed shrinkage of brain lesions in MS patients. By 2020, the brand achieved global distribution and introduced foods and teas designed to deliver the beneficial superior nutrition of MyShroom formulas.
